Ohio State University invited students from E.W. Scripps School of Journalism to join a simulated environment relating to national security to practice crisis communication skills.
​
I role-played as the Deputy Press Secretary for the Governor of Ohio during the two-day event.
​
Contributions:​

Wrote press releases under pressure and in response to crisis

Collaborated closely with the simulated Policy Advisor to the Governor

Interacted with the press and informed them of the Governor's calculated responses to simulated crises

Explored issues relating to state-national-international security and emergency response management
